Care None at king James in Navesink NJ

I have toured the lot of nursing homes and while this is not one of the county run death homes.... there are some issues to be seen.

Like most small business in the USA there have some some loss's in care in general and in staffing.

An insider who prefers to remain anonymous states that a room in this nursing home starts at about 300$ and frequently much more.

On a recent visit to the Care NONE i was suprised at the number of paitents calling for help that were just being outright ignoreded.

While granting this corporation the right to make money...... Does it have to be at the expence of our loved ones and others loved ones?

The Home is understaffed. The staff is underpaid.

Most of the employees where convinced to take a pay cut or work elsewhere.

One anonymous employee reported at one point earing as much as 13$ an hour and now via a series of alternate emplyment and subsequent rehiring.... is making under 10$ an hour.

Like most people this person cant live on what he makes.

What the cost to every now and then hold a hand or wipe a chin?

It seems Too much for care none in Navesink nj.

They earn our most valued BITE ME Award.

Welcome to our hall of shame!

John diddnt do it this time!

I am pleased to be able to say then the people fleeced by let john do it finaly found a good contractor.

For a bit more then John charged for a total screwup...

these people got:

A new comode
Tub
Glass doors (for tub)
A new vanity and sink.

The new tiles are about 1/4 inch thick and made of marble.

The good contractor gutted the entire bathroom and over the course of 3 days reinforced the floor beams , replaced the entire sub floor. And the tub and the sink and the toilet.

What a class job and these fine people are thrilled!

So dont let John do it to you!

New Jersey Cares - Hall of shame -

Let John Do it
PO Box 4250
Middletown, NJ 07748-3904

732 536-7151

Please dont let john do it!

I cant say for sure that John is a liar or a thief but consider his Mode of Operation:

Cash Only!

Wont tell you his entire name and uses a P.O. box in one town and his office is 20 miles away!

One senior couple in monmouth county NJ contracted john to replace a part of the flooring in their bathroom under the toilet. Including replacement of the wax ring at the base of the toilet , And was charged 1650 $ for this privlage.

While these people cant 100% prove that the toilet does in fact still leak. We do find john clearly guilty of lack of oversight and poor judgement. These people tryed to deal
with john via the bbb , where john made the following statements:

" Contract was signed on Dec 15, 2010.They were told job would be completed in 2-4 weeks. It was. "

Photograpic proof later will show in fact that it hasent been completed.

" Our project manager who has been with us for 20 years did the job. He said the home was severely unsanitary, as did our estimator. "

Clearly the home was not unsanitary but a case could have been made that the bathroom was so and john that been contracted to set this condition right.

Note that john never clearly states that he ever saw the job or the end result.

" We completed everything according to the contract, we even told the customer that in the process of removing the original toilet that they did not want to replace, if it should break from years and years of water damage and no repair we would supply a new one free of charge. "

Clearly this did not happen.

" As we stated in our response our job was completed as per our contract which included a NEW wax ring, as well as replacing the water damaged SUB-floor. Our project manager did seal the floor, the state of the existing floor that the client wanted to keep would be the reason that you are getting insects. "

Sounds almost reasonable until you see the below picture:

The tech states the job was complete  , but his sloppy work allowes insects into this home. In other parts of the floor there was a half hearted effort to seal the new floor but he seems to have run out of calk. Really john (if thats that's really your name)  .... could'nt you afford 4 - 8 $ in calk for a job you charged to finish the job you made 1650 American Dollars for and that only took about 4 hours?

Dont let john do this to you!

" We take offense that we were accused of taking advantage of the elderly, hundreds of our clients are over 65 yrs of age. "

Yeah... I wonder about that!

Shame on you!

What is wrong with you people anyway?!?!?!

New Jersey has become a state of roadside memorials. Oh we have gotten very good about it. The young lady who thought she was faster then the train has a lovely memorial on a pole by the tracks. To bad this young ladies parents diddnt spend a bit more time teaching thier child how to be safe.

Same goes for any number of young folk smeared on the road because they never learned that you cant win a fight with 2 tons of steel.

And then there is that 18 year old punk whose parents decieded he should have that shiny new hot rod... Come on people dont tell me you diddnt know he was going to drive too fast and then.... you let him kill himself and his 3 friends who should have known better then to get in your sons car.

Just tonight I was in Leonardo Nj waiting to make a left turn and I saw a man and a child... boy I think and about 12. Both on Bikes..... So here we have this genious parent teaching his child to ride his bike across the highway against the light.... I wonder what kind of memorial this fellow will maybe one day get.... and will his Father ever read this.....

I am so sick and tired of people saying they have the right of way.... you only have the right of way if the other driver gives it to you. And to the parents of 3 children in Seabright NJ , I hope you go to hell before you send your kids there. Route 36 in seabright is busy most of the time before midnight and the signs on the crosswalk that inform you that you are protected by state law dont mean a thing if the oncomming traffic dosent make way.

Using your children to stop traffic isnt just stupid.... its criminal!

If your a parent or want to be a parent , take a moment to teach your children to be safe. Safe is so much better then dead and while the memorials may be pretty and even loving.... most of those people diddnt have to die.

How to maybe avoid a ticket

The police are people just like you and I , doing a job that they may or may not like. Good days and bad days.

No matter how you feel:

Tell your passengers to keep it shut.
(I got a ticket cause Debby wouldnt shut up)

Be friendly but respectful.

A bad donut joke at this point will assure you get a ticket.

Caution , The Police officer may be nervous. Dont reach under your seat or into your glove box before you talk to the officer. Simply put this may get you killed.

Dont argue , listen to the Officer. Very often if you explain that what happened was your fault but you wont do it again , you may get off without a ticket.

Hint... If your scratching your right ear and you get pulled over it may be because the Officer thinks you were using your cell phone. Keep it cool and explain and if the officer wants to see your phone.... let him.

Getting pulled over dosent mean you have to get a ticket.

While most doctors wont see you without cash up front the Emergency room cant turn you away and they often offer reduced or charity care. You dont have to grin and bear it. Also sometimes your local church can be helpful here.

Food:

Most churchs have some sort of pantry where you can get food at no cost.

Company that owns Charlie Brown's steakhouse files for bankruptcy

The company that owns the Charlie Brown’s steakhouse chain announced Thursday it filed for bankruptcy, ending a whirlwind week during which it abruptly shuttered nearly half its restaurants and displaced more than 2,000 employees.

While this may not seem like a big deal another 2000 persons are now looking for work in an already strained job market. Its a big circle.... these folk wont spend as much money as they might have and other business's will feel that loss and maybe some of them will also go under.

This is not a good trend... you can find the complete artical below:
